As to my peaceful place, it’s a little bit of a juxtaposition that my office in the home is my peaceful place. The office is also the place where I am sometimes busy and stressed. My desk is overcrowded with work and personal papers. My “to do” list is there. My bulletin board with goals and dreams sits atop my desk calling me to act. Yet, in the morning, before I start my work, I take a little quiet time at my desk. After the house empties and the TV is no longer blaring from the kitchen, I sometimes have a moment to remember how fortunate I am to have the life, family, and friends that I have.
